What sort of goods can you source?
Six main groups. Machinery and equipment. Spare parts and consumables. Raw materials such as steel, aluminium and plastics. And automation, robotics and the controls that run them. If what you need sits just outside those, ask us anyway — we will tell you honestly whether we can source it well.
Is there a minimum order? Can I buy just one machine?
Yes, you can buy a single machine, and for parts and materials we work hard to keep minimums low. Some factories set their own minimum quantities, but part of our job is helping smaller buyers reach those factories on workable terms — sometimes by grouping your order together with others.
How long does it take?
It depends on the item. Stock parts and consumables can move in a couple of weeks; machinery built to order usually takes a few weeks to make, plus the sea journey. We give you a realistic timeline with every quote — not an optimistic one.
Who handles shipping, duties and customs?
We do. Shipping, insurance, working out the duty and clearing customs into Canada or the USA are all arranged through licensed forwarders and brokers, and rolled into the one price you were quoted, so there are no surprises at the border.
How do I know the quality is good?
We check the supplier before you commit, and inspect the goods against the details you agreed before they ship, with photos and a report. Catching an issue at the factory is far cheaper than discovering it after it has crossed the ocean.
What about payment — is it safe?
We structure payments to protect you — usually a deposit to start production, and the rest only once the goods have been checked or loaded, rather than paying an unknown factory in full upfront. Exact terms are set out in your quote.
Do you only source from China?
No. China is a strong option for value, but we also source from Germany, Italy, South Korea, Türkiye, India and elsewhere, and recommend the origin that best fits your quality and budget needs.
Can you make a product under my own brand?
Yes. We can source and develop a product that carries your own brand (your name, your box, your product) and then keep supplying it as you sell.
